I just read the chapter where Rhys and Feyre are attacked with ash arrows from Hybern and I’m so interested in your breakdown of that. Like was it Rhys’ people? Is that why they took out the arrows in his legs but not the wings (which aren’t even Rhys’)? Was he ever even in danger?

I truly applaud you for saying these things. Watching your videos has made me feel seen in a way I can’t fully express. I struggled reading these books, especially ACOMAF and ACOWAR. I've felt so alone in how I interpreted them. As someone who’s lived through abuse, the most painful part was being turned into the villain by everyone around me (including family) who had been manipulated by my abuser. Tamlin’s arc hits so hard. The isolation, the gaslighting, the way everyone turns on him... I will always defend him, because I see what the story is doing. And you are so right—if the roles were reversed, if a man had done to a woman what Feyre does to Tam, the conversation would be very different. That double standard is part of why this discussion matters so much.

Feyre’s life as a human was never good enough for her. That’s why she avoided the house. Her sisters weren’t good enough. She immediately forgot about their needs and safety after becoming fae. Tamlin might have been nasty and put them back in poverty. That never occurred to her. Then when the cabin happens and Rhys says let’s go home she’s elated. She wants to feel important. Her sisters weren’t important enough. Her father. Tamlin. Lucien. Etc. she’s a snob.

The spearing towards Lucien’s mind kind of sounds like when the Hybern twins were trying to do the daemati. Was Feyre unintentionally daemating Lucien here, causing him to go up against Tamlin? And then she slipped into his mind by accident because she was already doing it?

Maybe tamlin instructed Lucien to appear distanced so he can remain close to Feyre. I don’t think Tamlin stopped loving her despite the high lords meeting (best scene lol). It’d be nice if Lucien has stayed close all this time at his request (to protect all 3 sisters)

It's quite sad how she goes from, "It was a violation to go into Lucien's head," and then just does it all the time because the ends justify the means, when actually no they don't.

People like to say Tam’s an abuser, but this is just one of many scenes showing Tamlin’s care for Feyre. He sat, listened and tried engaging in conversation to have mutual understanding but Feyre was too busy victimising herself to sort the issue out - she just wanted to be right right right
