Honestly, it was a blast and reminded us why we love this town so much. First stop was the Arboretum. A peaceful escape full of beautiful plants, winding paths, and yes, lots of curious ducks and squirrels. It’s one of those experiences that always feels fresh no matter how many times you visit. Next up, we grabbed some delicious eats at Sam’s Mediterranean. If you haven’t tried their wraps, platters, or hummus, you’re missing out. It’s no surprise this spot is a local favorite and always hits the spot. To wrap things up, we headed to University of Beer for some great drinks and even better people watching. Sitting back, sipping on something cold, and watching the world go by is an underrated pastime here. If you’re looking for a fun day without leaving town, try playing tourist in Davis.
