I have both of them, they both flap a lot, eventually I stop noticing them when I swing it around to the back. The larger one does rub way more because of that breathable mesh on the back; it does feel more secure and has better retention. Tip: Just carry your phone, id cards/a credit card, keys AirPods case (if you must/I don’t). Go light with it you hardly notice them with either.
