Ricardo Roche :
That's because of the Rio Grande Compact Treaty, which has required New Mexico to deliver water to Texas since 1938. We must stop this now!

Has nothing to do with global warming, my dude. but everything to do with greed. Global warning is a woke term and isn't real.

As stated before this is not a normal occurrence and prior to 2022, the river has not dried out since 1980. The Rio Grande stretches through the entirety of Albuquerque, so when running into comments saying that "this happens every year" you might want to keep in mind that they're using their personal experience (looking at the river around their neighborhoods) to come to this conclusion and not walking 20 miles down the Rio grande every day conducting surveys and test that actually prove that this "happens every year." River tracking data is also publicly accessible information which is how these news outlets are getting it- the US Geological Surgery, River Eyes Monitoring Program, MRGCB, are all orgs that share updates with the public and are actually out along the river every day.

As someone who has lived here and seen the rio grande possibly every day for 20 some odd years. There’s not A DAY I’ve seen it low enough you could WALK through. There is 0 water people, 0. No flow, no current, not even a glimmer of a stream. We’re being played and everyone is turning an eye. Time for change?

This is why we need to get rid of the democrat leadership in our state. Eastern Arizona farms are being fed by the Gila and the Rio Grande is feeding Texas and Mexico, get it STRAIGHT Democrats are weak and incompetent
