@mekaninkreole: Being Black in China came with a lot of unwanted attention ! _ Going to tourist attractions? You basically become the attraction — it's next level. Cameras everywhere, stares from all directions. As strange as it might sound, it's not the kind of racism you see in many Western countries. It's more like a mix of stunned curiosity and genuine amazement at seeing someone so different. Still, that "awe" is often expressed in a super intense and overwhelming way. #china #beijing #chongqing #blackskin #blacktravel #funny #chinese
