Not at all. They had a whole yellow light and then a little bit of red and they still went from behind the stop line.

Technically I think you have to wait until the intersection is clear. So yeah they ran the red, but you didn't wait. Sounds weird, but makes sense from a safety perspective, right?

I love that people justify breaking the law because they do it themselves. The car ran a red light and the motorcycle had every right to go on a green. If the car hit the motorcycle they would be found liable all day every day.

Having the right of way doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use common sense. You see cars moving in the direction you’re headed, why would you go? Regardless if they are in the wrong for running the light late.
