Happy to see your face on my fyp again! You’ve been such an inspiration for me. I got back into running after 10 years off due to autoimmune issues. Finally got diagnosed last year and started immunosuppressive therapy. I was able to start running again in the fall, flared all winter and had to pause. Started again in March and ran my butt off until the end of the school year. That’s always a massive push to the end. I haven’t ran since 6/29, and ran yesterday on my treadmill and managed 2 miles!! By the end of next week I’m confident I’ll be back to a 5k. Running outside right now is a no go with the humidity and temps in Michigan. I am at high risk for heat related illness. Hoping once it starts cooling down to get back out on the pavement!! Take care of yourself, listen to your body, focus on your goals! I believe in you!!
