@tristinalee: I took a skin prick test for allergies for the first time in my life. What caused me to do it? For two years now I’ve been having extreme bloating when I eat and I’ve been trying to figure out the cause of it. I did a blood allergy test, and today I did a skin prick test to accompany it. It confirmed one thing I definitely knew: I most likely have OAS (Oral Allergy Syndrome) and for the longest time people thought I was making it up when I said I’m randomly allergic to fruits because they have a protein that mimics pollen when uncooked 🤣. But what about my gut…. Anyways, still on the journey to heal and figure out my gut. Learning that an allergy is different from intolerance….
