As a trans woman who has seen it from both sides, just the opposite way, I have found myself in some scenarios where my memories from cismanhood caused me to believe I was more important than I actually was to the men around me. I’ll go as far as saying I lost privileges when I started my transition that I didn’t really know I had until I was already on the other side. 😑

The longer I spend in therapy, yhe more I realize that I may be bi but a cishet man will have to be absolutely exceptional for me to ever date him. Thankfully, there are lots of options so I don’t need to fall into that trauma again

the curse with having a face like we have as transmen is that a certain demographic of men feel overwhelmingly comfortable speaking their truths to us as if we will ass slap them in solidarity... and it absolutely is our duty to make them explain why that's funny even though we know why they think it's funny...

having worked in the trades for almost 14 years it doesn't surprise me anymore and I hate that. I'm so tired of yelling about it. also refusing to even try dating a cis male at this point. I found out recently that my most recent ex from last year voted red and told me different just to not argue.
