I gave birth in a similar room. No table, but a fridge yes. Pushing while people slip in, apologize, and grab their lunches was a bit awkward.

One time, the morgue was full, so management had me put 💀 body in our conference room. I put our hospital falling leaf 🍁/hospice sign on it, but a group of nursing students went in there in the morning. Came out screaming.

oh, and we are no longer able to divert unless there is system failure, such as electrical outage or safety issue (very few reasons). Apparently having no staff is not a reason 🤦. How are nurses actually supposed to get a break??
