I take allergy shots twice a week because I have severe allergies. Yes I am allergic to cats but I have had my cat for about 4 years now, and I refuse to get rid of her. She loves it when I give her a bath.

My daughter was allergic, but I wasn’t about to get rid of my fur baby… after finding out my daughter was allergic to his dander at 3, they were attached at the hip, would have devastated her. She is 26 now, has two cats, she outgrew the allergy.
