You're thinking of "bunch". You wouldn't usually measure bananas in bushels, as it's a measure of volumes. It's more useful for smaller and more regularly-shaped produce. A US bushel is a bit over 9 US gallons. If that's hard to visualize, think a little less than two standard five-gallon buckets. If you really wanted to measure your bananas by volume for some reason, a bushel would be a LOT of bananas

Assuming a standard banana box is roughly 18 inches x 13 inches x 9 inches, its volume would be approximately 2106 cubic inches. Therefore, approximately 1 box of bananas could fit into a bushel of volume, though it wouldn't be a perfect fit due to the differing shapes.
