i think he’s talking about himself, since he experienced both side. i felt like when he was a human he we wanted to be a curse because he wasn’t accepted as a human, but when he got to ba a curse he found out that curses and humans are just the same peas in the pot and he felt like their ideals are useless and he doesn’t belong with either. that’s why he just decided to kill everyone without a thought or even discrimination for races. he eats both human and curses. he doesn’t discriminate until he reached the top. where he finally finds the fulfilment he had never received. and it’s kinda bitter sweet that when jogo cried and asked what he was feeling, sukuna replied that he “he doesn’t know”. because no one has ever beat him in his ideals or acknowledge them. no one gave sukuna the acknowledgment that he needed which he gave jogoat the end. “that jogo is strong because he is jogo and not the other way around.” like he never got the acknowledgment of being just his own person. without being labelled as an “evil sorcerer” or “king of curses”, which where only titles made for the “strong”. no one acknowledged sukuna being strong just because he’s sukuna. (this ties with geto’s question to gojo, which i think is so smart). then when yuji gave him a beating and he lost that’s where he got the enlightenment that someone finally accepted him for who he is and that “yuji literally saw right through him” and wanted to give him a second chance at life, because he acknowledges “sukuna” as his own person with just twisted ideals made through humans and curses alike. but sukuna was stubborn until the end cause he thought he never thought he would lose and never accepted yuji nor his impending death. but it’s sweet to see that in the afterlife he still ended up considering yuji’s suggestion and decided to go a “different path” just as yuji said to him. because he realized that even though power is a means of being seen/acknowledged, there’s also a more easy and peaceful path to be seen and where he wouldn’t be alone as he discovers himself . that’s the good path yuji taught him when he acknowledges him which he ultimately accepted
