Egypt trip cancelled. I can't imagine being there on a holiday knowing that people a few kilometers away are starving to death and being slaughtered.

Take a small river cruise down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan and stop off at all the temples, absolutely magic

Egypt is one of the tourist destinations where if you plan right, it'll be the best trip you've ever taken. But if you treat it like any other country, you may find yourself having a tough time. I also dont recommend toursits spend more than a day or two in cairo to see the Pyramids and explore some of old and islamic cairo then move on.

When we were colonised the capital changed based on geographical close to coloniser base 😅 cairo is the arabs capital. Nothing there is about ancient egypt more islamic and coptic egypt history.

Cairo is a dump! Its filled with trash, like its trash everywhere and the people was rude! And vendors never stop hassling u, the follow u, The only good thing with Cairo is the pyramids but even that the vendors managed to ruin...
