my mum has just worn lipstick and lipstick only my whole life & she slays 😂 i fear she is the exception & I will never understand how she pulls it off. no mascara, no blush, no foundation. lipstick on in the car at the lights 5 mins late. not even like a natural my lips but better either like a deep browny purple!

Sometimes applying straight from the bullet can be too heavy also, feathering it on with a brush or dabbing in with fingers is nicer

Gosh, I could've written that comment! I almost never wear a base (lazy!) but love to have either eyeliner / shadow or a lip on. it all looks incomplete and I think I've figured out why.

Base defs makes a huge difference l tried going lip liner only hopped in the car and had to run back in for at least some bronzer it just looks so bad! I believe teeth is another factor for some!
