@monstrofarm: This Rubber Plant has been with me for 9 months and it was time to prune it so it could branch out and I could make more propagations from it. Here’s how I did it. 🪨I started by creating a propagation mix that that would provide adequate drainage, and have just the right amount of water holding capacity. ✂️ I then pruned each overgrown stem with clean pruners. Making sure to leave the mother plant with a round shape for future growth. Then I removed the leaves towards the bottom of the stems that I cut. 🪴I filled a pot with propagation mix. 🌱 Using rooting hormone, I took each cutting and planted them in the mix. 💡Then placed them under my growlights and waited for roots. #houseplants #plants #plantcare #planttips #plantcaretips #houseplant #propagation #Rubberplants #ficuselastica 😊Enjoy.
