It's pretty unbelievable if a bank claims they've got no record of an ATM deposit. Seriously, these machines log absolutely everything—the exact time, how much cash went in, and even what denominations. That kind of tracking is essential for them; they reconcile those numbers every single day. So, for a deposit to just vanish from their books, that's incredibly unlikely. If they do claim no record, it's usually down to a system hiccup, a temporary delay in processing, or, in rarer cases, maybe some internal mix-up or even something shadier. If you're getting the runaround, especially if the ATM only returned a partial amount like $50 out of $1,500 with an error message instead of a full receipt, gather any transaction records or error slips you did get, and insist on speaking with a manager or bank higher-up to resolve it, and consider filing a formal complaint if needed.

This isn’t news shii this happened a few weeks ago to me when I was putting 3k in the atm since bank was closed it took me to long to deposit all the cash so it timed out and kept the money all the bank did was the next day sent someone out to count the money what it was over the amount I said they credit it back the next day

One time I withdrew money At the ATM and The next morning when I checked my account, My bank showed that I took the exact same amount out twice at the same time. It took Me months of arguing with them and requesting them to look at their video footage to eventually get my money back into my account that they Took out 2 times. I sent them a copy of my receip,the cash that came out and they still wanted to say that their machine did not make a mistake.
