want to win the argument? tell them you breed meat rabbits as sustainable ethical food for raw fed dogs and cats since that's the best food for them. then ask if she has a dog or cat and if she says kibble then say you don't love them then

it's weird, i have no problem harvesting my ducks, chickens and turkeys. i sent my goats for slaughter with no issues, but i don't think i can do rabbits. i wish i didn't have that mental hangup because i would love to switch away from poultry.

Off topic but I’ve seen a lot of people get pet rabbits and then not give the rabbit what it needs to actually be happy. So if you’re seeing this and want a pet rabbit please do some actual research

As long as a meat animal is well taken care of and humanely processed, I really don’t mind. Also, if you disagree with it, don’t eat it 💀 there are meat processes that I choose to not consume because I don’t like how it’s harvested, and that’s my choice.

Often times meat rabbits that are only bred for meat make terrible pets anyways. They just want a pet rabbit and dont want to pay for them or go through the interview process of a rabbit rescue.
