I just checked, He’s not in the basement anymore… There was a trail of what seemed to be fresh blood, it looks like he was pacing around in circles for a bit then proceeded to climb down the ladder onto the second floor, the blood trail ran to my parents room and I had a look but I didn’t see anyone so I followed the rest of the blood trail leading down stairs to the kitchen, the knife draw was open with blood dripping out of the slightly cracked corner, I then walked around the first floor then went to the little rundown shed we never got rid of, I slowley opened the door and to my horror my dad and mother lay lifeless before me, I slammed the door and ran back inside, I heard a faint scream but it was off, sort of like a woman with water in her throat trying to scream, it sounded like it was coming from up stairs, I ran straght into my sisters room and she was on her bed gasping for air, pools of blood running down her shirt, then I heard it, footsteps loud and heavy it sounded like they were downstairs, then thump by thump he proceeds to walk up the stairs, when he got up the top all I saw was this red blood filled creature standing there, I remembered there was a little window in the attic that I could try and get through I ran straght up there without thinking, I jumped straght through the window and landed with nothing but a broken arm, I ran as fast as I could ignoring all the pain I was in I looked back up at the window and I seen my mum, dad, sister and that guy standing in the window all their faces covered in blood along with the faint laughter of “the man in the attic”.
