The base server pay is absolutely egregious and abominable. I have worked as a server. It's awful that tips are the acceptable way to "make up the difference." There are people who flat out refuse to tip because they really believe that servers get paid a living wage when they don't..

No tipping in Australia. Servers are on around $30 p/h, except on Sunday or public holidays, then around $60 plus an hour.

In the Netherlands we Give No tip.! The food restaurants are on high price's. And we in the Netherlands Dont know Eather where and wen we Must to give Tip money. So , We DON'T.

In CA servers get min -$18.50 I think in LA plus tips. it's not a bad gig. but fed min and this reduced amount are disgusting
