@travelwithyulan: a view worth waking up for 🌞🇧🇷 if you followed my Brazil travels earlier this year, you know I opted for alllll the sunrise activities. this was one of the best spots and it was totally worth the early morning wake up. here is everything you need to know 👇🏼 1. you can do this hike on your own, but I HIGHLY recommend going with a group and especially if traveling solo. you will need to go through the Vidigal Favela to get to the starting point and having someone local to guide you is safest. 2. bring cash. you will need 10 reais for entry and another 7-10 if you plan to take a motorcycle taxi to the trailhead. small bills are recommended. 3. it’s going to be pitch black on the way up, so bring a head lamp or make sure your phone is charged to use the flashlight. 4. bring layers and plan for different climates. it’ll be cold at the top while you wait for the sun to rise, but then it’ll quickly get hot so pack sunscreen. 5. the hike is not too strenuous but bring water and good shoes. it takes about an hour and is mostly uphill. you could also bring some snacks for the top if you’d like! 📍 Morro Dois Irmãos #travel #solotravel #explore #brazil #riodejaneiro
