Btw guys, if you use BitTorrent it counts as distributing the Media (if you dont dissable hosting a download peer). So Vpn is way safer 🙏

with current copy right laws you still need to own a physical copy of the media to not get fined. your less likely to get caught downloading media if you don't seed but it's still illegal if you don't own the physical media

honestly for most media now a days its easier to just direct download vs p2p. less likely to get caught if youre really worried about that. obviously torrenting is good for more niche things though.

Look, downloading stuff can get you in trouble. Usually, your internet provider (ISP) will just send you a warning first that’s why people suggest using a VPN. I also strongly recommend using a VPN with a kill switch. A kill switch protects you if your VPN disconnects or leaks, so your real IP doesn’t show. Movie studios actually hire companies to monitor popular download sources, and if they catch your IP, they report it to your internet provider. That’s when you can get a warning, or in some cases, they might even shut your Wi-Fi off.
