When I’m nearly passed out not able to sit up straight with my friends trying to get me to drink water and I remember crying because I was afraid my dad was going to fall and hurt himself stood there with a plastic cup of water for him.

My dad runs a liquor store and was an alcoholic for a while after my paternal split he’s sober now and he begs me to not drink but I do every weekend😔😔I know he want what best for me but idek anymore man

my dad finally stopped drinking when I was 21. our relationship got better then he got a new gf, which is now his wife, then cut me & my brother off. I feel sorry for him because when he's dying he'll be alone. no kids, no grandkids, nothing. his loss.
