@itslexib: Let’s talk about the TRASH system in Japan 🗑️😭 There are like 9 different kinds of garbage and they’re all picked up on different days. Sometimes it’s “first Saturday,” sometimes “second and third Tuesdays only,” and I’m just out here trying to figure out if my milk carton is burnable or not. You also have to use specific bags and process everything a certain way — rinse this, flatten that, bundle those with string like it’s an art project 😵‍💫 In the U.S. I just tossed it and kept it moving. Here?
