I had to learn that for most people being "friends" as an adult means meeting up for drinks 3-4 times per year. It's pretty unrewarding so I find I'm not making the effort anymore.

I try this with multiple friends. Unless I ask call and schedule it doesn’t happen.. it’s so exhausting for me. I value friendship.. no one else seems to make the effort.
