the emotions we got from BE! absolutely agree that we're not saying COVID was "vital" or "important" for things to happen the way it did, cuz it did shake and take a lot out of our lives. I think it just shows how art can speak for a time in our lives and with looking back, we can still see and feel it. And the sounds we got from the solo songs out of the members might be written and sound differently

Had MOTS7 tix for 2 nights Chicago & sucked when refunded because initially they told us we’d get first tix to first tour post covid but they changed their minds. BE was brilliant. And we probably wouldn’t have had all the solo projects we got. But COVID still sucks

when you started talking about it I immediately thought if FACE. The emotions Jimin worked through and the healing he experienced wouldnt have been the same. BE was an incredible album I couldn't imagine us not having it.

Facts! Covid sucked! But I would never have met BTS if not for covid. My daughter found them on YT during Covid she took me to see them in LA. I think they would have been enlisted in 2021.

i think that’s what’s so beautiful about their work and how things played out! because you’re completely right that covid was an objectively horrendous time. but two things can be true simultaneously - covid sucks and yet the music and art they created as a result is so unique and probably saved so many people. it’s incredible what the human mind can create when everything feels dark and oppressive and emotions jumble together. pen and paper become the best weapon to wield and BTS are a perfect example of that.

omg.. I saw TikTok abt all the awards they got in 2019 and thought to myself: if it wasn't for COVID they would have ruled the world.. they were so artistically complex then.. but then I remember that I prob wld never discover them if I didn't download TikTok out of boredom during the COVID quarantine period.. so i am actually thankful coz cvd19 got me into bts.. thwy found me whwn I needed them the most..

i love ur POV! also very interesting that u brought up blue&grey specifically bc if I recall correctly, it was initially Taes solo song, it was even played on its1 fully in english long before release. but bc BE happened Tae shared it with the boys and they wrote the korean parts of it and I just love it so much

There is an alternate reality where Jin went into the Military after the map of the soul seven tour, the English trilogy weren’t heavily advertised or not released at all and I can’t force my family to play the BTS just dance songs for the 46th time.
