It’s a very small exclusive island community where houses start at like $10 million. Everyone knows everybody there, and the epicenter of social interaction is Maro Lago. This is a tight inner circle of elites that have known each other for decades. Trump has always highly been involved in the marketing culture of Palm Beach being this exclusive playground for the rich, because it benefited the prestige of Maro Lago. He’s protecting not only himself, but the social fabric and secrecy of that elite community. This is why the Miami Herald has been breaking some of the most damning evidence, it’s their proximity to that place.
