i would never adopt a single kitten by itself but when i say 2 kittens would be hard i’m not referring to their behavior but more so the financial end of having two cats. food, vet bills, etc are all doubled. it’s like having twins… two of everything at once! i only want to adopt an adult cat for this reason

Question! My friend has a cat similar to mine in age (4) and she’s shy. How would I go about evaluating if we would be able to live together? My cat is less shy and a little more active, loves humans. Her cat hisses when smelling my friend’s sister’s cat so we don’t know yet if it’s all cats she hates

I have a single kitten that is about 3 months. He defo has signs of single kitten but in a week when he is fully immunised from his jabs we are gonna let the neighbours cat play with him. They’ve seen each other through a glass window so much they’re desperate to meet. Fingers crossed he will learn

I had a single raised kitten from a a friend and she is perfectly fine except she is a tortie and has a tortie attitude and HATES the kitten we brought in (he isn’t a kitten anymore) despite the 3 3 3 rule. They tolerate eachother now but if we have cats in the future I’ll definitely be getting a bonded pair or at least get two kittens at the same time so they can bond.

Got my first kitten a year ago and quickly realized she was getting single kitten Syndrome. I got her a sibling a month later and they’re bonded now. Definitely helped a lot with those issues.

I so wish the shelter we adopted Loofah from would have suggested we get one of his siblings too. Pretty sure he has single kitten syndrome. He is now 5 and we can still see some of the single kitten syndrome in his adult behavior.

I have 2 littermates, Petunia is crazy and always chasing Cirila around and trying to play fight. Petu was supposed to be an easy cat and we went back for Ciri when someone changed their mind, that's why their personalities aren't a perfect match Sometimes I can tell Ciri wants a break. Do I need to intervene or are they ok? Hehe

As someone who adopted a single adult cat who is fear aggressive to other cats and was turned down by other potential adopters for getting overstimulated-I see all of this. His previous owners got him only as a kitten, and a couple years later they got a female cat who bullied him relentlessly, and now he’s terrified of other cats. It’s critical socialization for them

I have a question what if you adopt a stray? How do I tell if my 1 1/2 old cat needs a friend? She was found by the shelter as a stray and I got her a solo cat but how do I know she needs a friend? I’ve had her for almost a year.

I brought home a my 6month old kitten Jack 2 months ago. I found out his littermate sister was available and I just brought her in over the weekend. I have his sister “Lady” in a bathroom to let her acclimate to our home and smells. Jack does not like the smell of her outside the door. He hisses, growls and smacks the door…. Do you have a video on properly introducing 2 kittens..? They are both 6 months old. Jack came to us at 4 months.

i found a 2 day old kitten in a dumpster in 2019. i had no clue what i was doing raising her but i kept her alive and she’s like my kid now. i wouldn’t say she has single kitten syndrome as we have 3 other cats and she generally cohabitates well but they’re not her friends lol
