With having your cat explore outside in the grass and stuff, are there maintenance things you do? Such as tick/flea collars or treatments? Or deworming every few months? or just careful combing through his coat after each outside adventure ?

My heart nearly stopped this evening when my Ragdoll escaped out of his harness. I have never been so panicked. He didn’t go anywhere, just hid under my car on the drive, but just the thought of losing him broke me. I said I was never taking him out ever again and he kept meowing at me through the window. Have I just not trained him enough?

i have an eight months old siberian cat and i’ve tried to take him out for walks. He’s fine with having his harness on, he just doesn’t follow where i lead and i dont know what to do.
