Hi ladies! Acrylic nail artist here, I have 4.5 years experience and knowledge. I specialise Acrylic.. I assure u it isn’t so scary 💕 Acrylic can be very beneficial, in her condition builder gel isn’t a very safe or possible option in her nails current condition. When a cleint has such a delicate and damaged nail(in her case) we reccomend going in with a soft acrylic overlay. An acrylic overlay provides lasting strength with less product and pressure on the nail. Whereas builder gel won’t correctly adhere to her nailbed due to her condition. The acrylic will allow for the nail to grow with a thin protective layer, it is a far better option then builder gel(in her case) as it is going to be stronger protection with minimal product. Hope this helps with the nail myths on acrylic 🤍

i use a coat or two of a clear strengthening nail polish, keep them short, and put on nail oil and lotion every night
