The people not included in the trial who had acute pancreatitis were excluded because they were at an increased risk of pancreatitis. This is evident from previous GLP1 trials. 😊

On the flip side you can’t assume that clinical trials are the only form of evidence. Medical history is littered with drugs that were withdrawn due to serious side effects found after the trials 1) Thalidomide 2) Rofecoxib (Vioxx) 3) Rosiglitazone. I don’t think by any means the side effects are as serious as these but should not be discounted 😊

Love your videos, but I do think that regardless of what you say in this video, the statement that glp 1s is causing pancreatitis is somewhat misleading. We simply don’t know yet that if that is the case.
