@deacon.fisticuffs: I saw an interview recently with Malcolm Jamal Warner when he was talking about the pushback that The Cosby Show received from the black community stating that it was an unrealistic premise to have a black family that was doing so financially well, that was stable and had healthy relationships and part of that backlash that he said he experienced was people describing Theo as corny. Well I definitely believe he was sincere in his experienced I can definitely say for myself and probably for a lot of others during that time that at no point did we ever think the Cosby show was unrealistic or thought Theo was corny. Theo was living that life! To this day the Gordon Gatrell episode Still Remains one of the greatest TV moments in history!
