Definitely like dry brushing. Something about it gives it a nice worn look that I just love and it's super forgiving. I would also recommend if you messed up, strip the paint using 99% rubbing alcohol. Let it sit for a few minutes and the paint should come right off but leave the primer intact

That model rules. Brushing is great and. Can do a lot of really neat stuff. For layering, I highly recommend picking up Vallejo thinner medium. Most Hobby Lobby’s carry it

If you base coat any gold area you want with brown like a medium brown color and then dry brush gold over it it looks amazing. Works well with a lot of metal colors

Most of this mini is dry brushed. Tip: damp your brush with water and dry it off with paper towel or sponge. It will help keep the effect smooth. You want it "soft" not soaked.
