Kansas City Mo also has the only WWI Memorial. And West Port in Kansas City was the stop people would stock up on supplies before heading on the Oregon Trail. KCMO also has the 2nd most fountains in the world with 1st being Rome.

While perhaps more geology than geography, kind of cool to note that Missouri has the second most caves of any state in the US after Tennessee (according to most sources: some say 3rd). This is due to the Ozarks geology (karst systems)
