People talking about the time signature is off but that’s what makes it feel unique at least to me. There’s “perfections” within “imperfections” and to me this gives me the feeling of someone on a hopeful journey of escaping their past (whatever that may be) and looking to find their true self, purpose, and meaning but yet they are confused on where to go and what to do but what they do know is they must escape their current circumstances to begin to start to find their answer

I think it would be a cool idea if the music was like this at the beginning of a game where the player is inexperienced and stumbling through their journey. Only after a while of playing the harmony "grows" with them and becomes more refined and synchronous in a sense. What you've made is good and as a first time listener I enjoyed it but it felt like there was too much going on with the drums. Also I have no music degree or anything so this could be disregarded. -Jim

The feel of the drums feels like the drummer has inconsistent time. If going for the feel of a jazz drummer I feel like it should push the song forward, even being ahead of the beat is okay, but this feels somewhat directionless / start stop. The fills and general drum part is cool it’s just the feel of it that seems awkward. Listen to Marcus Gilmore, Eric Harland, Karriem Riggins playing live, etc.
