When I moved into my first dorm, my mom told me my dad got really quiet as they drove away. She asked him if he was okay, with tears in his eyes he said “I don’t want to talk about it”. Flash forward to college grad, I run to the bleachers after, and see my dad, and say “dad did you see me?!” He started crying and said “you were the only one I was focused on the entire time kid”
