It’s real and that’s what’s sad. He didn’t die during it, he came back to hyrule knowing he’d saved a world only he knew about, again. Being unable to see them again the same way, just like when he saved hyrule originally. Losing tael, just like Navi. Hero of two things only he would know about, forgotten to all but the gods
