Take a deep breath, relax your body, and trust the water. 2️⃣ Backfloat is your emergency tool When you don’t know what to do, go on your back. Tilt your head back, keep your chest up, and just breathe. This floating position helps you stay above water and recover. 3️⃣ Don’t depend on the wall In deep water, the edge may be far and that’s okay. Instead of panicking and rushing toward it, trust yourself. You can float right where you are. Calmness is your safety. 4️⃣ Use the starfish position Stretch your arms and legs wide like a starfish. This spreads your body weight and makes floating easier. It’s a simple trick, and it works for almost everyone! 5️⃣ Can’t move? Just float & signal If you feel stuck or tired, don’t struggle.
