I’ve been going through this as well I’m staying strong to not end up back with I’ve gotten this far I will lose it if I end up back with him. I feel crazy because I held on to him for 6 years and two kids later. After I realized it was time to leave him I drop the kids off and he cries and cries at me and says everything you say that they all say. It’s a hard spot because I do have Marcy for him I know I shouldn’t because of the abuse he put me through the last 6 years.

Wow just WOW... 25 years of marriage, 5 years of trying everything after I told him I was leaving, he does this everytime I'm not happy. now he's ready to go to couples therapy that I found. This is my last step.. dont know what else to do

Help! I’m living this right now. After 10 years of hurt, me and my kids moved out. We have been separated for 3 months. He is now going to church which he never went with us before, in counseling which he refused to go before, joined a men’s group at church and is saying he is a changed man and will keep changing to not lose me. I’m soooooo detached and numb and don’t have the feelings for him that he has for me but he said he would wait as long as it took for me to heal.

I’m so glad I took the bait. It’s been over a year and God has 100% changed my husband. People don’t change on their own but God can truly change people. It wasn’t easy and it has taken counseling and accountability but I’m thankful to God. And he didn’t miraculously see my worth but I did. God showed me I’m too good to put up with bad behavior. Now boundaries are the glue that holds me to it all. God bless!
