Unfortunately these things occasionally happen to people, what I don’t understand is the Officers reaction, where was his compassion? Where was his commonsense? This poor woman made an honest mistake a simple warning would’ve been sufficient in this instance, all I observe is an Officer with no Professional Presence who was on a huge power trip.

This woman clearly had a lot going on. She was pregnant. She had to rush during her lunch hour to go pick up a husband from surgery at the hospital so naturally if you know these things that’s common sense that this woman might be distracted a bit and not see your sirens not that it’s an excuse, but you have to assess these kind of things before you just jump down someone’s throat

i don t understand: when a police car has the lights and sirens on, you should get out of the way . If it stays in the back of your car, you pull over and stop the car. It s not like you can talk to them or read their minds in the first 10 seconds
