Exactly! Any make up product SPF amount is useless. It is just a marketing ploy. You have to put on sunscreen for protection.

I'm extremely fair skinned, live under the Australian sun and have never had a sunburnt face because I use Revlon colorstay foundation. How do you explain that?

I use proper spf 50 first and then put the spf 50 make up over the top, I know I don’t have factor 100, but I might get factor 55… 🤣

Thank you. I hate when people say “sunscreen makes my make up sits wrong so I don’t wear sunscreen under it, I just use make up that has spf in it” they don’t realise it’s not the same 😒

I think using regular spf under make up is better not that there is anything wrong with spf infused make up but it certainly doesn't replaced using a traditional spf along side it

is it not seen as something, you can do to protect your skin additionally? so that you have some UV protection day-to-day? If I'm going out in the sun, I definitely do also apply sun cream.
