One of the strangest prophecies in the Bible may have been fulfilled because of the revenge of a grandfather. This is the story of Ahithophel — possibly Bathsheba’s grandfather — and how he may have used Absalom and David’s concubines to publicly shame the king who destroyed his family. After David’s sin with Bathsheba, Nathan the prophet warned him: “You did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, before the sun.” — 2 Samuel 12:12 Years later, during Absalom’s rebellion, Ahithophel gave this chilling advice: “Go in to your father’s concubines…” — 2 Samuel 16:21 And Absalom did exactly that: “Absalom went in to his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.” — 2 Samuel 16:22 The rooftop where David once sinned in secret became the rooftop where his shame was exposed publicly. Was Ahithophel driven by revenge for what David did to Bathsheba and Uriah? The Bible never says it directly… but the connections are incredible. #Bible #BiblicalHistory #KingDavid #Bathsheba #Ahithophel
