One thing when routing the wire is to be aware of where the airbags are and avoid getting close to them. In case of an accident best case the dash cam cuts out and worst case the airbags won’t deploy

Was an autotech for many years, no hate at all (I love your vids) & I know this is kind of a play around car regarding the updates & installs but fuse taps are not a good solution, better to go to the back of the radio or a cig lighter (if available) for power & use an in-line fuse for protection & splice into existing wiring. Also best to grab a multi meter instead of the light up circuit tester as the latter can damage electronics. All that said you probably won’t have any issues anyway lol
