Yeah, but he’s not gonna fight to keep his jailer. The person who keeps him accountable. The person trying to save him. They want the relationship over so they can keep doing what they’re doing with. No one to hold them accountable. But eventually, they do come back during their lows, so be careful..

I’m so sorry. I know how you feel. My ex husband wouldn’t quit drinking for our family…but guess what? I am in such a loving happy marriage to a man who adores my now adult children and their children like they’re his own. I thank God every day for walking me through that pain and showing me how faithful He is when people let us down.

I know, when I confronted mine about his 4th time him running up the loans and I couldn't keep paying all the bills myself and I wanted him to get help and let's fix it. He said no let's just divorce! I was crushed, but now I am happy and so much better without him

When you said you wanted him to feel like he couldn't imagine a life without you...all I could think is that he couldn't imagine a life without his addiction. I feel this to my core… I just confronted my husband on Saturday night that I know he relapsed and he spun it that I’m the problem. I make him miserable by asking so many money related questions. He more or less said he wasn’t sorry and if I want to leave … then leave. My heart is shattered
