On top of all that, the party shown in the movie is insanely tame. If legend is to be believed Queen parties were some of the most insane parties in rock history. So it’s like man these band members can’t handle a slightly rowdier house party

Brian May and Roger Taylor are the two surviving band members and judging by the movie they were just so well behaved and never did anything wrong and it was all Freddie’s crazy partying that broke up the band.

the band refused any script that made them look bad but they were okay with throwing Freddy under the bus I guess. I heard it was originally going to be way more crazy and show how crazy the parties and night life was. but the band kept shutting those versions of the movie down.
