"Screams of pure horror ran throughout the desiccated town, car horns honking as the villain passed by. His heart, torn to pieces by the cruel world, set out to destroy and only then will he be free. Directing his rage towards a building, watching how it crumbled to pieces with broken satisfaction. The citizens scattered beneath his feet, screaming out for help. He didn't look, focusing on the debris in his palm. "Stop!!" A voice shouted from beneath. The heroine screamed, hoping to get the attention of the villain. It's no use, he's too far gone. She didn't give up, running towards his feet. "Please!" Finally, she gained his attention, his gaze cold and distant. His hand rose, ready to strike before she shouted, "Hey! It's me, please!!" Her eyes filled with desperate longing, hoping that the villain would come to his senses. His eyes softened as he lowered his hand, his giant form shrinking. The heroine smiled weakly, tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. "Yeah, it's me.." A broken sob escapes the villain as the Heroine brings their faces closer, their ragged breath mingling. The tears stream down her face, hugging the villain tightly. The memories of his past lover, also bringing the villain to tears as he holds the Heroine close, as if letting go will break his slowly deteriorating composure. "I miss Mom too, but I couldn't bear losing you as well, dad.." The heroine whispered, her voice shaking with emotion. "I couldn't bear tearing myself from your arms either, sweetie.." He attempted with a small smile, failing miserably as more sobs wrecked his disheveled body." I'm sorry 😭 the writer in me couldn't help but contribute 😞💔

Instead of calling out the hero forces her way through the uncontrollable surge of power. he looks down at her in his chaos, her eyes determined clothes torn skin frayed and blistered in an desperate effort to reach him and he sees it, pleading eyes, sympathetic expression and fingers outstretched not as fists but with the gentleness only one had ever shown him, how could she look like that, his sworn downfall was trying to catch him and suddenly he sees the way out, with one last look at his daughter he reigns in the uncontrollable chaos trapping it inside his already worn body “ forgive me” he mouths as the surge causes him to implode

Scene in my head: Context: Tas being an Oni demon with "Corruption" and illness that spreads through the race of the Demons causing them lose their mind and control, yet Tas keeps it at bay and fight other Demons. Kim, a Kitsune who fell in love with him and spend years together. Scene: After the Demon King is defeated, Kim finally returns to her village which is shrouded with a magical barrier that prevents Demons to enter. Kim stoods behind the barrier and Tas is watching her being happy reuniting with her father who thought she was dead. Tas know this is what Kim deserves, so he leaves. As he reach his home where Kim confessed her love, he watches the place where they rested, ate, played together. Suddenly, the place he called home, this beautiful lake that has been like a hidden jewel of nature is not that mesmerizing now that Kim is no longer there... To him, he saw it only as a place away from others, he started to call it home because she was there... Now it doesn't feel like home anymore and thus Tas wanders the world alone.

The heroine sprints up to the building, citizens clear the way, fellow heroes stand by- observing if ever she needs any help. The heroine chokes on her own breath as she jumps up, standing behind the ruined villain. "Please," she choked out. He stiffens, his gaze freezes as he looks to the voice. Her bottom lip quivers, confused murmmurs crowd the ground below. She slowly takes a step towards him, he tenses. "Please, it's me," she says softly as he fully turns around, his ruined face staring her down as tears gloss his eyes. She manages a faint smile as she spreads her arms wide, inviting. He crumbles in her arms. "I'm sorry."
