is it court ordered? they have no rights to rug test a parent without a court order, the other thing is those tests can & do show irregularities sometimes, its rare but accidents happen, & them not being in a medical facility or sterile environment its easy for cross contamination which would help their case, so the FREE word is ALARMING knowing in this economy, people cant afford to pay for testing give fear mongering vibes. the other issue is the fact that "new people" are doing it, opens them up for the "im new, I got you mixed up with another parent by accident, then offer their apology type of vibe. Then say BUUUUUUT you did fail the test , forcing parent to do the cps puppet dance that many of parents do dealing with cps. they give so many hoops, to prove their case to make parents look bad. a tip?

You dont have to prove your innocence. Refuse the test. Anyone can make an accusation, that doesnt make you guilty.

CPS caseworkers typically do not have the legal authority to physically administer drug tests themselves (e.g., collecting samples or conducting the test)

Unless there’s a chain of custody and a warrent, I wouldn’t that that test and I’m a Medical Lab Scientist that is very trained in this particular area. Don’t do something because you’re asked. They only want to build a case and you aren’t legally required to help.
