Literally this comment section is the reason most avoidants are avoidant. There is NO understanding or even an effort to understand what they feel. As an avoidant myself I don’t WANT to abandon you, but usually when the other person doesn’t understand or gets too close and oversteps my boundaries it just gets to that point.
