@sianalmond.cooks: Bug Benedict I took a little table, flask & prep down to the mud flats of Moreton Bay & Cooked up a Bug Benedict with Dill Hollandaise. (Of course with sous vide poached eggs 😂👏🏻 Bugs soaked in butter and cooked over the flame, all on top of the popular Aussie breakfast 'Turkish Bread' which was also cooked over the flame till slightly charred and crispy. Have you heard of Moreton bay bugs before? Moreton Bay bugs are a type of flathead lobster found in the warm waters around Australia, especially off Queensland. Despite the name, they're not bugs at all -Just delicious crustaceans with firm, white flesh and a rich, sweet flavor that's often compared to lobster or a cross between lobster and prawn. The meat is mostly found in the tail, and it's perfect grilled, barbecued, or simply tossed with butter and garlic. They're a bit of a seafood delicacy and a real treat if you're into fresh Aussie coastal cuisine.
