They’re going to be put on the streets. Then turn to crime and be arrested, or be arrested for being unhoused. They then get put into the prison pipeline making money for prisons, and turning them into slave labor.

I keep reflecting on “killer bees”. After a period of violence visited on their hives, honey bees started to become aggressive and violent in return. Our current situation is setting up the same scenario. Desperate people do desperate things. Our oppressors are convinced we will stay docile and complacent in the face of their violence. Ultimately that won’t be the outcome.

Many people won’t have more than social security because we’ve been underpaid and now at retirement age nothing is affordable: not health care, not a safe vehicle, not housing, not food, not utilities. Scarcity is the nightmare lie of capitalism. There is enough but it’s greedily hoarded.
